French Teacher 4th-8th Grade, World Languages Team Leader, Woods/vauban French Exchange Co-founder at The Woods Academy

Kimberley Jibladze has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector. Kimberley served as a French Teacher, World Languages Team Leader, and Co-Founder of the Woods/Vauban French Exchange program at The Woods Academy from August 2019 to present. Prior to that, they held the role of French Teacher, 5th/6th Grade Team Leader, and World Languages Team Leader at the same institution from June 2015 to the present. Before joining The Woods Academy, they worked at The Liberal Arts and Science Academy as the World Languages Department Chair from August 2011 to June 2015 and as a French Teacher for 9th - 12th Grade from August 2010 to June 2015. Kimberley also served as a UTeach Mentor Teacher at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2011 to June 2015 and held various roles including Academic Coach, Dynamic Diagnostic Assessor, and Director on Duty at GradePower Learning from August 2008 to August 2014.

Kimberley Jibladze's education history is as follows:

Kimberley Jibladze obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Trinity University in 2006, majoring in French and English (Double-major). In 2004, they also studied French Language, Literature, and Civilization at the American University Center of Provence. Additionally, they completed a program on British Literature and Civilization at the University of Oxford in the same year.

Kimberley further pursued their education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Master's Degree in Foreign Language Education from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they also engaged in a French Phonetics course at New York University in 2007.

In 2008, Kimberley Jibladze participated in the UTeach program at UT Austin and obtained a Texas Teacher Certification with a focus on French 6-12. Kimberley continued to teach in Texas and obtained a Teacher Certification in the same subject and grade range from the Texas Education Agency in July 2010.

Most recently, in July 2020, they obtained a Virginia Teaching License, specifically in French PreK-12, from the Virginia Department of Education.
