Yiddish Intern And Bookstore Manager at The Workers Circle

Ian Lorand currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Health Career Opportunity Program (HCOP) at NYU Langone Health and holds a position as a HCOP Research Assistant Intern at the Visuomotor Integration Lab under Dr. John-Ross Rizzo. Since August 2021, Ian has also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Brain Performance Lab led by Dr. Joel Sneed, responsible for screening prospective participants and managing experimental group communications. In addition to these roles, Ian has been with The Workers Circle since September 2019, where responsibilities as a Yiddish Intern and Bookstore Manager include coordinating logistics for Yiddish language classes and handling the online bookstore. Ian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York, completed in May 2023, as well as studies at Yeshivat Orayta from 2017 to 2019.
