Vanessa Crews

Vanessa Crews is a seasoned development professional currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at Youth INC since December 2023. Prior to this role, Vanessa held the position of Chief Growth Officer at One Love Foundation from April 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing revenue strategies, digital marketing, and event planning for a $10 million organization. Key experience also includes serving as Managing Director of Development & Communications at City Year, where Vanessa was instrumental in driving revenue and partnerships for one of the largest sites in the organization, and as Director of Development at AIGA, managing revenue for a national design organization. Additional notable positions include Associate Principal at Cerami & Associates, Inc., and various roles focused on development and fundraising at 92nd Street Y, CFY, The New School, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and AIA NY | Center for Architecture. Vanessa holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Kent and a BA in International Studies and Political Science from Stonehill College, along with an Honors degree in African Politics from Stellenbosch University.
