Dr. Ala Matarneh

Dr. Ala Matarneh currently serves as the Head of the Accounting Department and an Associate Professor at The World Islamic Science & Education University since October 2019. Prior roles include Associate Professor and Head of the Accounting Department at Jerash University from May 2012 to October 2019, along with positions as Assistant Professor, Quality Assurance Supervisor, and Coordinator of the Joint Accounting Program with W & J College (USA). Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Accountant at The United Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Co. Ltd. from February 2002 to October 2007. Dr. Matarneh holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accounting from The Nottingham Trent University (2008-2012) and a Master's degree in Accounting from Amman Arab University (2004-2006).
