Michael J. Paglia

Graduate Medical Education's Board Member at The Wright Center for Community Health

Michael J. Paglia is an Associate Designated Institutional Officer for Geisinger Health System and a clinical associate professor at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Having served as both a residency and fellowship director, Dr. Paglia brings more than a decade of experience in graduate medical education to his role on The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education Board of Directors.

Dr. Paglia is dually board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. He serves on Geisinger’s Systemwide Hospital Lab Formulary Committee and the Board of Directors for the local branch of the March of Dimes. He also is a Pennsylvania Section Council Member for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a reviewer for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Paglia is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

A graduate of College of the Holy Cross and Northern Illinois University, Dr. Paglia earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology as well as a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Duke University Medical Center. The Holmdel, New Jersey, native resides in Shavertown.
