William Dempsey

Deputy CMO at The Wright Center for Community Health

William Dempsey, M.D., is Deputy Chief Medical Officer for The Wright Center. He provides comprehensive primary care services as a family medicine physician and serves as Medical Director at The Wright Center’s Clarks Summit Practice. Dr. Dempsey is also a Medication-Assisted Treatment-waivered to treat Substance Use Disorder.

Dr. Dempsey graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine and earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Scranton. He completed residency training at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Hospital Center and joined The Wright Center in 2014, overseeing the expansion of pediatric services at the Clarks Summit Practice. He is a faculty member and Associate Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education.
