Ariel Mendez

Ariel Mendez is currently serving as the Education Commissioner for the City of Rockville since April 2023 and works as the Editorial Project Lead at Mathematica since November 2022. Additionally, Ariel has been an Instructor at The Writer's Center since February 2019 and a Project Coordinator at Living Spectrum, LLC since August 2015. Previous experience includes roles as Program Coordinator for Key Executive Leadership Programs at American University from April 2013 to January 2015, Program Associate at Mathematica Policy Research from June 2012 to April 2013, Student Hire at the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board from May 2010 to August 2011, and Student Intern at Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores in early 2011. Ariel Mendez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, Spanish, and Economics from Mount St. Mary's University, completed between 2009 and 2012.
