Alex Straughan

Alex Straughan is a skilled Graphic Designer with extensive experience in both freelance and in-house roles. Since February 2016, Alex has been working at The YGS Group, contributing as the sole in-house illustrator and responsive HTML/CSS web programmer, while also developing and maintaining company identities across multiple platforms. In addition, Alex has provided freelance design services for Kombucha Town since March 2009, creating various branding materials including logos and bottle labels. Prior experience includes a designer role at Smith/Walker Design & Photography from November 2009 to March 2016, where Alex also focused on company identity development, and a freelance position at Firehouse Performing Arts Center, which involved illustrations for merchandise and patent designs. Alex holds a bachelor's degree in Art/Design from Western Washington University, completed in 2008.
