Mark Simmons

Mark Simmons is an accomplished Senior Industrial Designer currently at Dalstrong Inc. since July 2024, with extensive experience in design leadership roles, including serving as Head of Design and Principal at Future Artifact Inc. since April 2010 and co-founding Yoak Inc. in June 2016. Previous positions include being a Toy Designer on contract for Spin Master, Senior Industrial Designer at Global Furniture Group, and Senior Consumer Products Designer at Sago Mini, contributing to the development of Toca Boca's subscription box toy kits. Additionally, Mark founded Lumbürr Co, a lifestyle brand, and held senior design roles at Avaya, Wingspan Design, and Nortel. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Sustainable Product Service System Innovation from Blekinge Institute of Technology, along with experience at ETH Zürich and a Bachelor with Distinction in Industrial Design from Carleton University.
