Policy and Advocacy

About

The Policy and Advocacy team at the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights works to influence laws, policies, and practices affecting unaccompanied immigrant children. They gather and analyze data to support their advocacy efforts, engage with lawmakers, and provide recommendations to ensure that the rights and best interests of these vulnerable children are prioritized. By leveraging insights from Child Advocates' casework, the team aims to create systemic change and raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by immigrant minors in the legal system.
