Scott Swanson

Scott Swanson has been the Executive Director of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA since September 2002. Prior to that, they worked as a Grocery Clerk at Albertsons Companies from June 1995 to September 2002. Scott is a strong advocate for healthy living and has been instrumental in helping the YMCA provide quality programs and services that promote wellness and improve the lives of individuals and families in the Treasure Valley community.

Scott Swanson attended Boise Senior High School, where they received a general education. Scott then went on to Boise State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Later, they received certification from the YMCA of the USA (National Resource Office) as a Multi-Branch Team Leader, and from the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer.

Their manager is David Duro, President & Chief Executive Officer.
