Matthew Schmitz

Matthew Schmitz currently serves as the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager at The Ziegenfelder Company, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Matthew Schmitz worked at CROWDED GROUP, INC from April 2019 to July 2023, initially as a Refinement Technician, progressing to Refinement Manager and ultimately holding the role of Laboratory Operations Manager, overseeing manufacturing operations and departmental tasks. Prior to that, Matthew Schmitz was the Operations Coordinator at Calvert Commercial Real Estate from January 2018 to March 2019, managing marketing and property management for multiple commercial properties. Matthew Schmitz holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salisbury University and an Associate of Science in General Studies from the College of Southern Maryland.
