Colleen Cottle

Colleen Cottle is an experienced analyst and leader in policy and economic strategies, currently serving as the Analyst Team Lead at Alethea since June 2025. Previously, Colleen held the position of Chief of Staff for Policy and Integration at the U.S. Department of Commerce from January 2024 to June 2025 and served as the Deputy Director of the Global China Hub at the Atlantic Council from September 2022 to February 2024. Colleen's extensive background in the U.S. Federal Government includes roles as an analytic manager from May 2015 to August 2022 and as an analyst from March 2010 to 2015, focusing on East Asian economies, global trade, and finance. Earlier consulting experience at New Economy Strategies involved advising on technology transfer and economic growth. Colleen Cottle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Marquette University, a Master of Arts in International Economics from The George Washington University, and has academic experience at The University of Bonn.
