Valerie Sprinkel

Valerie Sprinkel is an experienced professional in animal care and rehabilitation, currently serving as an avian medical technician and wildlife rehabilitator at the Avian Conservation Center since March 2021, and as an animal care consultant at Theater of the Sea Inc. since August 2020. Previously, Valerie worked as a zookeeper at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens from October 2019 to September 2020, providing care for native wildlife and farmyard animals. An extensive background includes roles as a marine mammal trainer and veterinary technician at Theater of the Sea Inc. from May 2004 to January 2019, and as a husbandry assistant at SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando from May 2003 to May 2004. Valerie holds a Care and Conservation of Aquatic Animals Certificate from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
