Matan Asraf

Matan Asraf is a Full Stack Developer at theator. Matan has over three years of experience as a Senior Frontend Developer, lead developer for core features, and developer for core integrations with 3rd parties products. Matan has extensive experience using EJS, React, node.js, Express, mongoDB, and internal RPC services. Matan is also skilled in component drivers testing components in all levels - e2e, integration, component, and Sled tests with Sinon.js, chai, puppeteer, jsdom, and Wallaby.js.

Matan has experience working in a frontend monorepo, with React, Typescript, Lerna, and Yarn workspaces. Matan is dedicated to improving DX - local environment / GA process / GH & Slack bots, using serverless framework and node.js. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining, refactoring, and updating technologies for legacy core components of the application. When issues arise, Matan investigates and fixes production and build issues, using server logs, Grafana, newRelic, and Sentry. Matan is also in charge of the development process of core features including assigning tasks, project milestones, components architecture, and reviewing pull-requests. Working in Agile methodology (Scrum), Matan mentors student and junior developers and participates in pair programming to teach and share knowledge within the team.

Matan Asraf's educational career includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya).
