Monique Holt

Monique Holt is a distinguished Assistant Professor at Gallaudet University since November 2020, alongside roles as Theater Director for Deaf Spotlight since April 2019 and Co-Artistic Director at Mo2 Productions since January 2006, focusing on innovative works in film, movement, and visual theater. Monique Holt has extensive experience as an actress and director, with notable performances at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, including roles in "Romeo and Juliet" and "Snow In Midsummer". Throughout a career that began in June 1985, Monique Holt has worked as a freelance certified Deaf interpreter, employing various techniques to mediate language and culture for diverse clients. Educational background includes an M.F.A. in Theatre from Towson University and a B.F.A. in Acting from New York University.
