Dirk Steinert

Dirk Steinert, MD, MBA, currently serves as the VP Chief Medical Officer of Ambulatory Care at ThedaCare, a position held since June 2023, where leadership of the ThedaCare Provider Network employed physician group is the primary responsibility. As Chief Medical Officer at Novir since May 2020, Dirk Steinert has also held the role of Medical Director of Quality at Ascension Medical Group Wisconsin from 2004 to June 2023, while concurrently serving as an MD at Columbia St. Mary's, where contributions included Medical Director of Population Health and Chair of the Clinical Practice Council for Ascension Wisconsin. Dirk Steinert's expertise extends to medical direction of skilled nursing facilities and advisory roles for school districts. Dirk Steinert is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and possesses extensive educational credentials, including an MBA in Healthcare from Lubar College of Business, a Certificate in Managing Health Care Delivery from Harvard Business School, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois Chicago, following undergraduate studies in Chemistry and German at Lake Forest College.
