Dr Ishtiaq Rehman

Dr. Ishtiaq Rehman is a highly experienced sports physician currently serving with HM Forces and The Football Association since December 2016. Previous roles include serving as the doctor to the England FA men's under-17 team and head of medical services at Sunderland AFC from July 2013 to December 2016. Dr. Rehman's medical career began with a general practitioner position at Tennants St Medical Centre from August 2004 to July 2013, along with additional experience as a GP with special interest in musculoskeletal conditions and as a private sports physician. Dr. Rehman holds a medical degree from the University of Dundee, obtained between 1994 and 1999, and completed secondary education at Rhodesway Upper School.
