Samantha Pereira

Samantha Pereira has extensive experience in the field of software engineering and quality assurance. Samantha is currently working at TheGuarantors as a Test Engineering Manager, a role they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Test Engineer at the same company from February to October 2022. Before joining TheGuarantors, Samantha worked as a Snr. SDET (QA Lead) from January 2019 to February 2022.

Before their time at TheGuarantors, Samantha worked as a Software QA Engineer at Cisco from July 2018 to January 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Tesla as a Software QA Engineer from October 2017 to July 2018.

Samantha started their career at Accenture in India in 2011. Samantha held the role of Software Engineering Analyst from September 2012 to October 2015, and prior to that, they were an Associate Software Engineering Analyst from June 2011 to September 2012.

Samantha Pereira obtained a Master's degree in Management in Information Systems from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Andhra University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Samantha has obtained several certifications. These include "Creating Interactive Dashboards in Tableau" and "Tableau 10 Essential Training" from Lynda.com in May 2017, "Scrum Product Owner Accredited Certification™" from the International Scrum Institute™ in April 2017, "Statistical Learning" from Stanford University in April 2017, "Train the Trainer" from the Public Health Agency of Canada in April 2017, "Certified in Data Science" from SAP in March 2017, "Big-Data and Hadoop Developer" from Simplilearn in February 2017, "Data Scientist - R Language Certification" from Simplilearn in February 2017, "Data Scientist - SAS and Excel Certification" from Simplilearn in January 2017, and "Java Essentials for Hadoop" from Simplilearn in January 2017. Samantha also holds a certification as a "Certified in Machine Learning" from SAP, obtained in December 2016.
