Kim Ernest

Senior Director, Construction And Facilities at The Learning Experience

Kim Ernest has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. They started as a Project Manager at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in 2001, where they worked on various projects including a residential complex and a mall renovation. In 2006, they joined Gulf Building Corp. as a Project Manager. In 2008, Kim became the President of Ernest Contracting Corp., a licensed general contractor specializing in drywall and framing subcontracting. They held this position until 2019. From 2017 to 2019, Kim worked as an Acquisitions Field Manager at FirstKey Homes. In 2019 and 2020, they served as a Construction Manager for The Learning Experience. In 2020 and 2021, they worked as a Construction Manager at CenterStar Property Group. Currently, Kim is the Senior Director of Construction and Facilities at The Learning Experience.

Kim Ernest completed their education history as follows:

From 1992 to 1995, Kim attended Titusville High School.

From 1995 to 1999, Kim earned a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida.

From 1999 to 2001, Kim pursued a Masters degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida.

Additionally, Kim obtained a Certified General Contractor certification in August 2008 from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Later, in February 2018, Kim became a Notary Public for the State of Florida.
