Luc Mayrand

Luc Mayrand is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in themed entertainment and education. Currently serving as a member of the International Board for the Themed Entertainment Association since January 2024, Luc has held various key roles at Walt Disney Imagineering since December 1999, including VP, Creative Portfolio Executive for Hong Kong and Shanghai Disney Resorts. Luc’s academic contributions include a position as Associate Professor at Université de Montréal’s School of Industrial Design since 2008 and teaching roles at Art Center College of Design and the University of Southern California. With previous consulting roles at companies like Paramount Parks and Babylonian Productions, as well as a history as Art Director at Landmark Entertainment Group, Luc has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation in design and experience. Luc holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Université de Montréal and studied at the ArtCenter College of Design.
