Itai Muller

Itai Muller has extensive work experience in the visual effects industry. Itai started their career as a student at Gnomon School of Visual Effects in 2012. After completing their studies, they began working as a freelancer in 2006, specializing in 2D generalist work such as compositing, motion graphics, and animation. During this time, they had the opportunity to work on music videos for high-profile artists in Israel and also directed four live action music videos.

In 2008, Itai joined 2 Flags as a Lead Compositor for an adventure movie set in 1930s Tel-Aviv. Itai was responsible for compositing over 1000 VFX shots, which involved merging miniatures, digital matte paintings, and practical elements.

In 2013, Itai joined The Mill as an intern in the matte painting department, and later progressed to the role of Jr. Matte Painter. Itai then advanced to the position of Matte Painter, and eventually became the Lead Matte Painter in 2019.

Itai Muller attended the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design from 2001 to 2005, where they studied animation. Later on, from 2012 to 2014, they enrolled at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation, focusing on VFX. The degree obtained for both educational experiences is not specified.
