Krysten Richardson has a diverse work experience in the field of VFX and post-production. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Creative Assistant at TOMS before transitioning to Method Studios as a Flame Artist and Tape Operator from 2010 to 2013. Krysten then joined Wieden + Kennedy as a Lead Flame Artist, Colourist, and VFX Supervisor in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Lead Flame Artist and VFX and Post Supervisor for various companies including The Mill, Method Studios, Framestore, Zoic, Blast LA, and more. In 2015, they continued their work as a Senior Flame Artist and Shoot Supervisor at Framestore and as a Freelance Flame Artist at The Mill. In 2021, they became a Senior Video Producer and Post-Production Supervisor at the San Francisco Symphony. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Senior Video Producer at a different company, where they provide end-to-end video production services and project management. Krysten has experience working on various projects and has a strong skill set in directing, videography, lighting, audio, production, media management, workflow design, editorial, color, compositing, motion graphics, VFX, finishing, and delivery.
Krysten Richardson pursued their education starting in 2005 at the Academy of Art University, where they studied graphic design. Krysten attended the university until 2007. Following this, in 2007, they enrolled at Portland State University, but the degree and field of study are not provided. It is not clear when their education at Portland State University ended.
