Rakesh Venugopalan

Rakesh Venugopalan has extensive work experience in the visual effects and creative technology industry. Rakesh is currently the Head of Creative Operations at The Mill, a global creative partner for agencies, production companies, and brands. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing various projects in visual effects, creative technology, video production, and film content. Prior to this, Rakesh held the position of Head of 2D at The Mill, where they played a key role in creating extraordinary and memorable work. Rakesh has also worked as a Lead Compositor at The Mill and in other companies such as DreamWorks Dedicated Unit, Double Negative, and Rhythm & Hues. Rakesh has demonstrated expertise in roles such as Image Finaling Artist, Compositor, Lead Compositor, Senior Compositor, and Lead Roto/BgPrep Artist.

Rakesh Venugopalan pursued a Diploma in Animation Film Making from Zee Institute of Creative Arts from 2003 to 2005.
