Ty Richardson

Ty Richardson has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Ty started their career as a Volunteer/Crew Member at the Tribeca Film Festival NYC, LLC in 2012. Later that year, they co-founded and worked as a Co-Founder & Director/Producer at 16K Creative until 2016. In 2014, Ty gained experience as a Production Assistant at SMUGGLER and also worked as a Writer's Room Intern at Blue Bloods on CBS. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Videographer and Editor at Elevator Group LLC, managing the in-house video capability and creating original content. In 2016, Ty joined The Mill, where they held roles such as Pitch Production Artist, Creative Development, and currently Creative Development/Director. With a passion for directing, Ty also worked as a Director in the Independent Film Industry since 2016.

Ty Richardson attended Thayer Academy from 2004 to 2011. After graduating from high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Film and Television Production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts from 2011 to 2015.
