Virapandy Thulasimani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and business development across various sectors. Currently, Virapandy leads the Product - Asha Kiran initiative at The/Nudge Institute, focusing on rural livelihoods since September 2025. Previously, positions included Director of New Products at Mondee and Travel Lead for Network Expansion at Open Network For Digital Commerce, where Virapandy advanced ONDC's open travel network. A long tenure at ThoughtWorks saw Virapandy transforming retail systems for leading clients, including a Fortune 50 grocer and a top Indian private bank, as well as managing significant projects at iNautix Technologies and Wipro Infotech Ltd. Education credentials include a PGDM in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a BE in Production Engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology.
