Senior Scientist Therapeutic Development at Theolytics

Shayda Maleki-Toyserkani has a diverse range of work experience. Shayda is currently a Senior Scientist in Therapeutic Development at Theolytics, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, from January 2019 to October 2022, they worked as a Research Associate at Cardiff University, where they contributed to research projects. Before that, they were a PHD student at Cardiff University from October 2014 to November 2018, focusing on the immune cell response to bacterial infection and sepsis. Shayda also has educational experience, having completed their MSc degree at Aston University from October 2010 to September 2011, and their undergraduate studies from October 2007 to July 2010 at the same institution.

Shayda Maleki-Toyserkani completed their education in the field of biomedical science. Shayda first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biomedical Science from Aston University, which they pursued from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Science from Aston University from 2010 to 2011. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they studied from 2014 to 2018.
