Joe Webber

Joe Webber has extensive work experience in the field of technology and web development. Joe has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise and leadership skills. Joe started their career as a Web Developer and Designer at Common Bikes Ltd in 2004. Joe then worked as a Web Developer at Plymouth College of Further Education. In 2006, they joined Designamite as a Lead Developer and eventually became the Technical Director, responsible for managing a team of developers and driving research and development within the company.

Joe later joined Corigan as the Head of Engineering, leading a team to build an SEO platform and designing application architecture and databases. During their time at Organic, Joe served as the Full Stack Developer, Head of Development, and currently, the Director of Engineering. In their current role, they provide technical direction and leadership to both the Development team and the remote Engineering team working on SaaS solutions for startups. Joe is responsible for training, up-skilling, hiring, and line management duties. Throughout their career, Joe has focused on building complex websites and applications, improving process efficiency, and driving the technical direction of the organizations they have worked for.

Joe Webber attended Churston Ferrers Grammar School from 1993 to 2000. Joe then pursued a degree in ND Foundation Studies in Art & Design at South Devon College from 2000 to 2001. Following that, they enrolled in the University of Plymouth from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Digital Arts & Technology. During their time at the University of Plymouth, Joe focused on Internet, Programming, and Human-Computer Interaction.

In addition to their formal education, Joe Webber has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the "Web Application Architectures" course and received a certificate from Coursera Verified Certificates. In 2019, they obtained the "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" certification from Coursera. Most recently, in April 2021, they acquired the "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation" certification from Coursera.
