Shelly-Ann Bryan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shelly-Ann started their career in 2000 as the OTR Program Coordinator at the Foreign Policy Association. In 2005, they worked as a Freelancer at The Limited Design Studio. In 2007, they worked as an Assistant Technical Designer at Jones Apparel Group before joining Macy's Merchandising Group as an Assistant Technical Designer in the same year.
At Macy's, Shelly-Ann held various roles, including Associate Technical Designer, Technical Designer for Mens Sportswear, and Manager-Technical Design for Millennial RTW Brands. Shelly-Ann was responsible for creating fit protocols, managing teams, developing fit and grading standards for new brands, and maintaining communication and quality throughout the production process.
In 2018, Shelly-Ann joined Theory as the Manager of Technical Design, and quickly progressed to roles such as Senior Manager, Director of Technical Design, and currently, Senior Director of Technical Design. Their responsibilities at Theory include overseeing the technical design team, implementing departmental processes, and maintaining fit approval timelines.
