Amy-Leigh Bird has had a wide range of work experience. Amy-Leigh began their career as an Artist in 2007. In 2019, they became a Personal Assistant for ArtCan Organisation and a Picture Framer for 90 Degree Framers. Amy-Leigh also worked as a Gallery Intern for Bo.lee Contemporary Art Gallery and an Interior Design Consultant for Roost Interiors. In 2021, they became a Customer Service Manager for theprintspace and an Artist & Gallery Assistant for Tom Cox Studio. Finally, in 2023, they became a Picture Framer for Chris Beetles Ltd. In addition to their work experience, they graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with their BA Hons in Painting & Printmaking.

Amy-Leigh Bird attended Farnborough Sixth Form from 2011 to 2013. Amy-Leigh then went on to The Glasgow School of Art and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Painting & Printmaking in 2017. In 2018, they completed a Master of Arts in Creative Entrepreneurship at The University of East Anglia. Additionally, in July 2011, they obtained a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
