Ronen Portnoy

Ronen Portnoy has over 20 years of experience in the field of technology. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Java Developer for Extreme LTD. Ronen then moved to Z Group, where they served as CTO from 2002 to 2008. After that, they worked as a Project Manager for HP from 2008 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Amdocs as a Data Engineer, where they were involved in the research and development, design, and development of a complete solution. Ronen then moved to Trax Retail in 2019, where they worked as a Senior Data Engineer, leading the development of an enterprise DWH over Google Cloud. Currently, they are the Head of Data at Theranica Bio-Electronics Ltd., where they are responsible for leading the Data function across the organization.

Ronen Portnoy completed their M.Sc in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A in Computer Science from Netanya Academic College between 1997 and 2000. Ronen also has certifications from Cisco, Sun Microsystems, MoreSteam.com LLC, and the Project Management Institute.
