Treasure Tannery has a diverse work experience in various industries, including the furniture and mattress manufacturing and retail sectors. Starting with their role as a Manufacturers Sales Representative at Old West Mattress, they successfully developed a dealer base and prospected with retailers to change vendors. They also determined appropriate product line-ups based on market competition and price points. At Ashley Furniture Industries, they were a Marketing Specialist, growing business with existing retailers through assortment management, advertising, and marketing events. They also opened new accounts. Their experience at Ashley Furniture Homestores involved managing and owning three retail furniture stores, implementing training programs, and developing successful marketing strategies. They were also a Merchandise and Marketing Manager/Buyer at Lifestyle Home Furnishings, focusing on product buying, merchandising, pricing, and advertising/marketing. They have also worked as a Director of Design Product Development at Therapedic International, a Therapeutic Mentor and Family Coach at AIM House, a Consultant at T squared Inc., a Children First Intern at Maria Droste Counseling Center, and a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Regis University.

Treasure Tannery completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1992 to 1997. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Applied Psychology at Regis University.
