Brad Watson, LCSW, has extensive experience in clinical social work, currently serving as Clinical Manager, Senior Counselor, and Psychotherapist at Therapy Austin since March 2019. Prior roles include Medical Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator at St. Gabriel's Palliative Care & Hospice, and Medical Social Worker at Encompass Health, where responsibilities involved assessing psychosocial needs and care management. Brad has also worked as a Care Manager at ProperCare, Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator at Harbor Healthcare System, and Counselor at LifeWorks Austin. Earlier experience includes a Bereavement Counseling Internship at Hospice Austin, an internship focusing on co-occurring disorders at the Texas Department of State Health Services, strategic recruiting for the Peace Corps, and career coaching at The University of Texas at Austin. Brad holds a BA in American Studies, an MS in Clinical/Medical Social Work, and an MDiv in Theology, all from The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
