Ellen Lindsey

Ellen Lindsey is an accomplished Executive Counselor and Psychotherapist with over two decades of experience in the mental health field. Since January 2003, Ellen has operated a private therapy practice focused on adult clients. Ellen's previous role as Vice President of Operations at Therapy Austin spanned from August 2012 to October 2023, during which time Ellen facilitated the organization’s stability and transition following its sale. As a Managing Partner, Ellen led operations for a decade, overseeing critical functions such as finance, data analysis, and program development, ultimately bringing the agency to market successfully. Additionally, Ellen founded and co-directed a counseling agency with five locations and over 100 therapists in Central and North Austin. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Clinical/Medical Social Work and a Plan II degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
