Ann Marie Geissel has over 35 years of experience in the field of education. Ann Marie started their career as a Special Education Teacher and later became an Elementary Principal in the Philadelphia School District. Ann Marie then worked at the Methacton School District, where they served as an Elementary Principal, Curriculum Supervisor, Special Education Supervisor, and Director of Pupil Services. Ann Marie also worked at the Phoenixville Area School District as the Director of Pupil Services/Special Education, responsible for managing the district's student services department. Ann Marie Geissel was a Principal Mentor/Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania, supervising and mentoring principal interns and providing classroom instruction in literacy and special education. Ann Marie also worked as a Senior Literacy Advisor at Wilson Language Training, developing literacy plans and assisting students in achieving proficiency in language arts. Currently, Ann Marie Geissel is the Vice President of Special Education and Virtual Programs at Therapy Source, Inc., where they focus on virtual program development and special education compliance consulting.
Ann Marie Geissel has an extensive education history. Ann Marie pursued an Ed.D Program in Educational Administration, as well as a Superintendent Certification at Widener University. Ann Marie also obtained a degree in Elementary Principal and Special Education Supervisor from Temple University.
In addition, Ann Marie Geissel earned an M.Ed in Special Education from Arcadia University and a BA in Elementary and Special Education from La Salle University.
Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications, including Elementary Education, Elementary Principal, Special Education, Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent, and Supervisor Special Education, all from various institutions such as the PA Department of Education.
