Scott M. Cutler has over 17 years of work experience in various industries. From 2003 to 2006, they were the Mechanical Engineering Manager at Zoltek--Entec Composite Machines, a CNC Machine Manufacturer. During this time, they led the engineering team and designed a state-of-the-art carbon fiber towpreg placement machine for the wind energy market for Gamesa in Spain, which was the world's first technology involving two patents. Scott M. also managed programs for customers such as Bell and Boeing. In 2006, they were promoted to Senior Program Manager at Honeywell Aerospace, a tier 1 defense contractor with over $10 billion in revenue. During their time there, they reduced the lead time on composite parts for jet engines and was ranked in the top tier of the supplier development group. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Director of Quality and Reliability at FLIR Systems, a tier 1 defense contractor with over $5 billion in revenue. During this time, they were responsible for spearheading the site QMS system, final acceptance testing, design for reliability, and reliability testing program, among other tasks. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Vice President of Operations at Sierra Nevada Corporation, a tier 1 defense contractor with over $2 billion in revenue. During this time, they were responsible for rebuilding the organization and creating a culture of excellence. From 2014 to 2018, they were the Managing Director at Thermal Imaging Radar, LLC. In 2018, they became the Chief Consultant at Excellops, a boutique management consulting firm specializing in KPI trend analysis and organizational excellence. During their time there, they helped startups grow businesses and worked with clients ranging from start-ups to Airforce bases to multinational industrial companies in various industries.

Scott M. Cutler obtained a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University in 1993. Scott M. then attended the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, where they earned a Master of Engineering Management (MBA with emphasis in Engineering Management) in 1995. In 2007, they obtained an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification from ASQ - World Headquarters and an ASQ Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence certification from the same institution. Later that year, they obtained a Lean Expert certification from Honeywell. In 2008, they obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Honeywell.
