Thermalin
Zhiqiang Chen is a highly experienced scientist with a focus on biochemistry and a proven track record in insulin analog synthesis, purification, formulation, and stability studies at Thermalin Diabetes, LLC since April 2011. Prior to this role, Zhiqiang Chen worked as a Senior Scientist at Lampire Biological Laboratories, specializing in antibody purification, labeling, and biochemical characterizations, along with process scale-up from September 2006 to March 2011. Earlier, Zhiqiang Chen served as a Postdoc Research Associate at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Duke University, where significant research was conducted on mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase and its role in alcohol metabolism and nitric oxide generation in knockout mouse models from January 1999 to August 2006. Zhiqiang Chen holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a degree in Biochemistry from Beijing Agricultural University.
