Avie Banks

Avie Banks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical research and business operations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Development Operations and Strategic Business Operations at PPD since 2012, Avie has held various leadership roles in project management within the company. In addition, Avie is a Licensed Real Estate Broker at Banks Realty Group and has actively contributed to March of Dimes as a Family Teams Committee Member. Previous roles include President and CEO of Banks Group, LLC, and Clinical Project Manager at Salix Pharmaceuticals. Avie is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, building on a Master’s in Business and Health Administration and a BA in Sociology. With a strong background in facilitating team processes and managing clinical trials across multiple sectors, Avie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.
