Hamid R. Erfanian

Hamid R. Erfanian currently serves as the Global Division Vice President and General Manager for Protein Diagnostics at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a role assumed in March 2024. Prior to this, Erfanian was the Chief Executive Officer at Enzo Biochem Inc from November 2021 to November 2023, overseeing complete P&L responsibilities for a robust organization with 500 associates and multiple manufacturing facilities across North America and Europe. Erfanian also held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at EUROIMMUN and served as CEO of EUROIMMUN US, where responsibilities included strategic growth, product development, and operational oversight. Earlier experience includes roles at Diagnostica Stago, Beckman Coulter, Abbott Laboratories, Quest Diagnostics, and PharmChem, along with foundational positions in laboratory management and medical technology. Erfanian holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from SMU Cox School of Business and a B.S. in Biochemistry from North Dakota State University.
