Kushani Attanayake

Kushani Attanayake is a scientist with extensive experience in analytical chemistry and field applications. Currently serving as Scientist III in Field Applications at Thermo Fisher Scientific since April 2024, Kushani previously worked as a Scientist at ProtaGene from November 2021 to April 2024. Prior to that role, Kushani held the position of Associate Scientist at BioAnalytix for a brief period in late 2021 and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University from August 2016 to October 2021. Kushani began a scientific career as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Peradeniya in 2015. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from West Virginia University (2016-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Peradeniya (2010-2014).
