Markus Schopper is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in process improvement and quality by design within the pharmaceutical and automotive industries. Currently serving as the Director of Practical Process Improvement at Thermo Fisher Scientific since April 2020, Markus previously held leadership roles at Takeda as Head of QbD & Lifecycle Process Validation and at Shire as Head of QbD & Risk Management. Markus has also contributed significantly at Baxalta as Head of Process Knowledge & Lifecycle Management and at Baxter BioScience as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. With a career beginning at TRW Automotive and LogiDataTech, Markus possesses a strong foundation in engineering and project management, holding a Diplom degree in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences.
