Michelle Murphy

Michelle Murphy currently serves as Vice President of Commercial Finance at Thermo Fisher Scientific since April 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle held various positions at PPD from May 2005 to April 2022, including Executive Director of Commercial Finance, Senior Director of Commercial Development, Director of Contract and Proposal Development, and Associate Director of Contracts and Proposals. Michelle's career began at Lek Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Sandoz Company, where the role was Senior Accountant from 2003 to 2005. Michelle earned a Master of Science in Information Systems/Audit from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2001 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy from the same university in 1993.
