Nicholas Wang is a Staff UX Researcher in Human Design Factors at Thermo Fisher Scientific, leading human factors and UX research for scientific and digital products since October 2021. Previously, Nicholas served as a UX Researcher and Engineer III, focusing on user research in life sciences and biotechnology. Nicholas has extensive experience in pharmacology research with roles at Rigel Pharmaceuticals Inc. and IDEAYA Biosciences, where responsibilities included study design and data analysis on various animal models. Additional experience encompasses UX research and behavioral pharmacology techniques at Easylabs.org, Epiodyne, and Achaogen. Educational credentials include a degree in Marine and Coastal Sciences from the University of California, Davis, a certificate in UI/UX Design from Springboard, and an ongoing certificate in Software Engineering from Springboard.
