Ramón Montoya Benito

Ramón Montoya Benito is a seasoned quality systems and compliance professional with extensive experience in the medical device and IVD sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Quality Systems & Compliance at Thermo Fisher Scientific since June 2021, Ramón leads the Quality and Regulatory team for a subsidiary in EMEA, focusing on compliance with EN ISO 13485 and IVDR regulations. Prior to this role, Ramón was a Quality Manager at Siemens Healthineers, successfully transitioning a start-up into an IVD manufacturer and achieving EN ISO 13485 certification. Ramón's earlier experience includes leading Quality & Regulations at Olympus Soft Imaging Solutions and managing project quality at Indra, with involvement in significant projects such as the Panama Canal expansion. Ramón holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School and recently completed a course in Nutrition for optimal brain performance at IE University.
