Sandy Pound

Sandy joined Thermo Fisher on October 1, 2020, as Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, with responsibility for the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations functions.

She previously spent 14 years with Johnson & Johnson (J&J), most recently serving as Vice President, Communication and Public Affairs for J&J Medical Devices Companies. Before that, Sandy held the same role within J&J Consumer, Inc. In both roles, Sandy set the communication and public affairs strategy for a broad portfolio of world-class brands. Throughout her career with J&J, she helped the company strengthen its industry leadership and enhance its reputation with all stakeholders, including employees, customers, the media and investors. Prior to J&J, Sandy worked in both corporate and agency settings managing public relations, crisis communications, media relations and employee engagement.

Sandy earned a bachelor's degree in English and Communications from Douglas College at Rutgers University.
