Selina Dixon

Selina Dixon currently serves as a Scientist in Molecular Biology at Thermo Fisher Scientific, following experience as a PCR Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist at Opentrons Labworks Inc., where responsibilities included automation support, staff training, and clinical sample processing in a high complexity laboratory. Prior to that, Selina was a Lead Laboratory Technician at VRL Laboratories, focusing on nucleic acid extraction and data analysis. Earlier roles included a Concierge position at Ingleside at King Farm, and community engagement as a Resident Assistant and Community Assistant at the University of Maryland. Selina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland and has also completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Watkins Mill High School.
