Shantanu Kaushikkar

Shantanu Kaushikkar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial and business development within the life sciences industry. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Shantanu served as Head of Commercial and Business Development and held various director roles focused on business development and product management for the Genotyping Platform from January 2018 to December 2024. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Affymetrix included positions such as Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing within the Genetic Analysis Business Unit and Director of Product Marketing, among others, contributing to the firm's growth from May 2007 to December 2017. Earlier career roles spanned software management and engineering, with experience at Affymetrix Inc and Imatron Inc, beginning in 1996. Shantanu holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Santa Clara University and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
