Suneth Piumal is a cybersecurity and information security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Suneth serves as the Cybersecurity Lead for Systems R & D at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on internal processes and tools related to cybersecurity and privacy. Previously, Suneth was the Information Security Risk & Compliance Manager at NUITEQ®, implementing and improving an information security management system aligned with ISO 27001. With a background as a Lead Auditor for ISO 27001 at Bureau Veritas Group and roles involving information security consultancy and governance at Associated Motor Finance Company PLC, Suneth has developed comprehensive risk management frameworks. Earlier career experiences include software development and network administration roles. Suneth holds a Master of Science in Information Security and is pursuing an MBA in Business Administration and Management.
