Doug Pereira

Doug Pereira, MBA, P.Eng, PMP has a strong background in operations management, project management, and design engineering. Doug has experience working with various companies in the engineering and manufacturing industries.

From 2018 to present, Doug has been working at Thermogenics as the Operations Management Lead/Master Scheduler, overseeing a staff of 20. Doug implemented continuous improvement and Lean practices, leading to a reduction in lead time and the creation of integrated tools used by multiple departments.

From 2013 to 2018, Doug worked at Innovative Steam Technologies as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Doug led engineering teams, delivered projects on time and within budget, and implemented process automation to achieve cost savings.

In 2015, Doug worked as a Project Manager at NetHope & University of Waterloo.

From 2010 to 2012, they were a Design and Process Engineer at Core Powered Inc, managing client relationships and coordinating with global vendors.

From 2006 to 2010, Doug worked at Deca Aviation Engineering Ltd. as a Project and Design Engineer. Doug successfully managed projects, implemented systems to improve efficiency, and generated engineering drawings using various design software.

Doug Pereira, MBA, P.Eng, PMP, holds an Executive MBA degree in Cross-Functional Global Leadership from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Doug also has a Graduate Diploma in Business and Entrepreneurship (GDip) with a focus on Leadership and Business from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, they possess a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, as well as a BEng (Hons) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University. Doug Pereira has also obtained certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification and as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Professional Engineers Ontario and the Project Management Institute, respectively.
