Kathryn Merei has a diverse work experience in marketing and business development. Kathryn is currently working as the Head of Marketing at Thermogenics since February 2023. Prior to that, they founded Merei Marketing in 2020 and served as the Founder & Principal. In this role, they led marketing functions, addressed business challenges, and designed customized plans for clients. Kathryn also served as the Director of the Board of Directors at Youth Rising Above since 2021. Previously, they joined the Brydson Group Ltd. in 2013 as the Head of Marketing, where they developed strategies, increased profits, and achieved record sales. Before that, they were the Social Media and Marketing Manager at Brydson Group Ltd. - Elmwood Spa, Bangkok Garden from 2007 to 2013, where they delivered growth in new customers and managed loyalty programs. Kathryn started their career as a Marketing Assistant at SCEA in 2006 and worked as an Advertising Assistant (contract) at Lalonde & Associates. Kathryn also has experience in public relations at Terra Restaurant from 2003 to 2005.
Kathryn Merei has a diverse education history. In 1996, they completed their secondary education at Newtonbrook Secondary School. From 2002 to 2005, they pursued a Business Administration Diploma in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Seneca Polytechnic. In 2013, they attended Ryerson University for a marketing course. In 2018, Kathryn briefly studied Marketing at the University of Toronto, followed by another course in Project Management at the same institution. Additionally, in 2017, they obtained a certification in Crestcom Leadership & Management Training from Crestcom International.
